Paige Lorenze’s Dairy Boy Launches Sporty DB Sport Collection
Paige Lorenze’s women’s apparel brand, Dairy Boy, is stepping into the world of activewear. The new DB Sport collection will debut at a pop-up shop during the Miami Open tennis tournament, aligning with a growing trend in sporty fashion. Officially launching on April 2 on the brand’s website, this collection aims to blend style with functionality.
Inspired by a Passion for Sport
In a conversation with WWD, Lorenze shared that the collection draws inspiration from her childhood and her lifelong active lifestyle. “I’ve always been drawn to those in-between moments around sport and how it influences movement, dressing, and how we feel,” she explained.
Focus on Quality Fabrics
The DB Sport collection emphasizes the use of “soft, supportive fabrics that move with you.” Among the myriad influences, Lorenze cited tennis as a significant source of inspiration, no doubt influenced by her engagement to American tennis player Tommy Paul. This connection brings a personal touch to the collection’s design ethos.
Highlighting Key Pieces
Lorenze’s favorite item from the new collection is the Dairy Boy capris. She states, “They look simple, but every detail was incredibly considered, from the fit to the fabric to the branding.” The capris embody the collection’s aesthetic, aiming to provide a polished and flattering look while exuding effortless style.
Diverse Range of Offerings
The DB Sport collection features a wide array of apparel, including tank tops, T-shirts, fleeces, jackets, track pants, and dresses. Additionally, the accessory line includes headbands, hats, and socks. With sizes ranging from XXS to XXL and pricing capped at $100, the collection aims to be both accessible and stylish.
Miami Open Pop-Up Experience
Before the official launch, the entire DB Sport collection will be available at the Miami Open pop-up. Lorenze describes the pop-up’s aesthetic as “rooted in vintage references and a very idealized version of all the things I love,” providing a glimpse into her creative vision.
Future Vision for Dairy Boy
Looking ahead, Lorenze envisions Dairy Boy growing beyond just clothing. “I aim to create something that becomes part of people’s everyday lives, dressing a generation of women in a way that makes them feel confident, capable, and grounded,” she said. The potential for expanding Dairy Boy’s offerings is immense, as Lorenze plans to continue building a brand that feels lived in and impactful.
