Square Enix recently announced that their upcoming HD-2D game, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, will launch in June 2026. Accompanying this release date, the development team has also disclosed exciting bonuses for players who have save data from specific titles.

Unlocking Exciting Bonuses

If you own any of the indicated Square Enix titles and have save data from them, you’re in for a treat! Players can unlock unique bonuses, which are accessible based on existing save data or, in some cases, purchase history on the same account. Interestingly, demo save data may also qualify for these bonuses.

Eligible Titles for Bonuses

Players can unlock bonuses from the following titles:

• Octopath Traveler 0
• Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake
• Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster
• Various Daylife
• Triangle Strategy

Here’s a summary of the bonuses you can expect:

Octopath Traveler 0: Increases sword damage to enemies with 30% or lower vitality by 10% with the “Guidance of the Sacred Flame” magicite.

Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake: Grants a 6% increase in sword critical-hit rates with the “Critical Hit” magicite.

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster: Increases sword damage by 10% using the “Brave” magicite but consumes slightly more shield stamina.

Various Daylife: Reduces sword charge time by 10% with the “Expeditionary Wisdom” magicite.

Triangle Strategy: Increases sword damage by 10% while shield stamina is at 90% or greater with the “Counter Stance” magicite.

Important Details to Note

All save data for these eligible titles must be located on the same Switch 2 console. If you’re playing on a Switch 2 but have save data on an original Switch, remember to transfer it before claiming bonuses. These bonuses can be claimed at any time, even after starting The Adventures of Elliot.

How to Claim Your Bonuses

Once the game releases on June 18, 2026, here’s how you can claim your in-game items:

1. Select the Promotional Bonus option from the title screen.
2. Link your save data from the corresponding eligible titles.
3. Start a new game and check the desk on the second floor of the orphanage in the Age of Safekeeping.
4. Select “Claim bonuses” from the menu options to redeem your bonuses.

Please note that certain points in the game may temporarily restrict access to the orphanage.

Collect Your Rewards

Among the bonuses, players will receive the Departure Brooch, which slightly increases the drop rate of tul (the in-game currency) and magicite fragments from defeated enemies. This addition will surely enhance your gameplay experience!
