    New York Men’s Day Kicks Off Fashion Week with Its 25th Edition

    As New York Fashion Week approaches, New York Men’s Day is gearing up to spotlight emerging men’s fashion brands. The highly anticipated event will mark its 25th edition on Wednesday, February 11, coinciding with the official opening day of NYFW.

    Showcase Details at Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan

    This year, New York Men’s Day will feature two sessions at the Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan showroom in Hell’s Kitchen. The sessions are scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to noon and 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., dedicated to showcasing innovative designers in menswear.

    Featured Brands for 2023

    Eight exceptional brands will take center stage, including A. Potts, Avon Anglers, Chelsea Grays, Christopher Lowman, Monday Blues Studio, Peak Lapel, Science Project Company, and Wangda. These brands represent the forefront of menswear innovation, each offering unique perspectives and styles.

    Project by Informa: Key Sponsor and Supporter

    Adding to the excitement, presenting sponsor Project by Informa will introduce brands that will showcase at its Las Vegas trade show on February 17-19, alongside labels from its Incubator Program. Each session will highlight four different brands, enhancing the diversity of the showcase.

    Industry Insights on Menswear Evolution

    “Menswear is always evolving, and New York Men’s Day is at the forefront of that evolution,” expressed Edwina Kulego, vice president of global business development at Fashion by Informa. “The energy NYMD brings to kick off New York Fashion Week is unmatched, showcasing creativity and innovation that resonate with modern consumers.”

    Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan: A Dynamic Venue

    Manuel Terrones, general manager of Mercedes-Benz of Manhattan, emphasized the showroom’s capabilities. The 330,000-square-foot space transforms seamlessly to highlight the emerging designers’ collections, creating immersive experiences that align with NYMD’s vision.

    Additional Sponsors Supporting the Event

    Beyond Project by Informa, other sponsors enhance the occasion. Vogel NYC, America’s oldest custom shoemaker, will unveil its Icons Collection, alongside Grimoire, Oribe Hair Care, and Augment makeup. Jahn Hall, founder of Union Management, will provide essential casting services for the event.

    Looking Forward to an Exciting Season Ahead

    “We are excited for Project by Informa to showcase in a larger capacity this season through their sponsorship,” stated Erin Hawker, founder of Agentry PR and NYMD’s creator. This season promises new designers, including Avon Anglers, Christopher Lowman, and the return of familiar faces. New York Men’s Day is geared up to kick off Fashion Week with a flair once again this February.
