Jackson County Extends Property Tax Payment Deadline

Jackson County residents can breathe a sigh of relief as the payment deadline for property taxes has been extended to January 31, 2025. This decision comes in light of recent mailing delays that affected many taxpayers.

Reason for the Extension

County Executive Phil LeVota announced the extension during a news conference, attributing the delays to a late mailing process. Traditionally, property tax bills are sent out in mid-November, but for 2025, this did not occur until December 15.
