iGirl Shop Opens Bigger Space on Orchard Street
Recently, we visited the newly opened iGirl shop located at 166 Orchard Street, nestled between Stanton and Rivington. This fresh storefront, which officially launched on September 2nd, follows a swift two-week renovation, marking a significant move from its previous location on Third Street, where Bella McFadden, also known as Internet Girl, operated for nearly 16 months.
A Spacious New Location
The new iGirl shop boasts a larger space compared to its former one. Bella McFadden shared, “Since we use the space for admin and we needed a stock room for order fulfillment, this was the ideal street and size. There is more foot traffic here. Orchard Street is a destination, while Third Street was a more residential block.”
New Apparel Collaborations
The expansion of the iGirl shop aligns perfectly with its shift towards apparel. McFadden is particularly excited about a new collaboration with Lip Service. Additionally, the shop has introduced Leg Avenue tights, a popular request among loyal customers. This enhanced selection aims to cater to the diverse tastes within the subcultures they represent.
