A 2023 graduate of Batesville High School, Struewing is currently an incoming senior at Ball State University, majoring in Marketing with a minor in Event Planning and Hospitality. Her academic background positions her well to take on the responsibilities of her title both locally and statewide.

As Miss Ripley County, Struewing will not only reign over the upcoming 4-H Fair but will also represent Ripley County at the prestigious Miss Indiana State Fair Pageant. A Night of Achievements
During the pageant, Callie Comer was awarded 1st runner-up and earned the title of Miss Congeniality, showcasing her friendly demeanor among contestants. The other finalists included 2nd runner-up Shelby Williams, 3rd runner-up Cheyenne Cullen, and 4th runner-up Hailey Kunz. Cullen also snagged the Formal Wear Award, highlighting her elegance on stage.
Community Impact and Fundraising
Comer additionally won the People’s Choice Award, determined by audience votes during the event, with proceeds aimed at supporting foster families in Ripley County. The contestants collectively raised a commendable total of $926, demonstrating the community’s commitment to local causes.
Honoring Kindness and Compassion
This year, Bonnie Hoffrogge received the Kindness Award and Kompassion Scholarship, recognizing her compassion throughout the pageant activities. These awards were established in 2019 in memory of Kristy Sams, a dedicated member of the queen pageant committee.
