2025 Miss and Teen Miss Dubois County 4-H Fair Queen Contestants Announced
The highly anticipated Miss and Teen Miss Dubois County 4-H Fair Queen contest will take place on June 29, 2025, at the Jasper High School Auditorium, starting at 3 p.m. This event showcases the talent and aspirations of local youth and is an integral part of the Dubois County Fair festivities.
The 2025 Dubois County 4-H Fair runs from July 14 through July 19, offering an array of activities and exhibitions for the community to enjoy.

Meet the Miss Contestants
Taylor Blackgrove
Taylor, the daughter of Angela Kluesner and the late Keith Kluesner of Dubois, is a 2024 graduate of Northeast Dubois High School. Currently attending Purdue University, she is majoring in Animal Science with aspirations of a career in Pet Nutrition or as a Veterinarian. Taylor is proudly sponsored by Triumph Energy.

Brooke Buening
Brooke, the daughter of David and Stacy Buening, is a 2025 graduate of Southridge High School. She plans to further her education at Vincennes University to study Conservation Law, aiming to become a Conservation Officer. Brooke is sponsored by Flip and Twist Gymnastics.

Lexi Fuhrman
Lexi, daughter of Byron and Amanda Fuhrman, is set to graduate from Northeast Dubois High School in 2025. She plans to study Agribusiness and Agronomy at Vincennes University, with ambitions of becoming a self-employed farmer. Lexi is sponsored by Fuhrman Bros. LLC and Seitzies Bar and Grill.

Laurian Gayso
Laurian is the daughter of Chad and Kristin Gayso from Jasper, and she will be a senior at Jasper High School this fall. Aspiring to become a dog groomer, Laurian is sponsored by IGA.
Introducing the Teen Miss Contestants

Jazmin Dubon
Jazmin, daughter of Santos and Milagro Serrano, will be a sophomore at Southridge High School this fall. With future aspirations to become an Ultrasound Technician, she plans to attend Indiana University. Jazmin’s sponsorship comes from her supportive parents.

Alexis Eckert
Alexis is the daughter of Bryan and Krystal Eckert and will be a junior at Southridge High School this fall. She plans to study Dental Hygiene at USI. Alexis is sponsored by Eckert’s Tech Supply.

Ashlyn Pund
Ashlyn, daughter of Nick and Jennifer Pund, will be a junior at Forest Park High School in the upcoming fall. Her sponsorships include Durcholz Excavating and her family.

Kinley Schnell
Kinley is the daughter of Lee and Danielle Schnell from Celestine and will be a sophomore at Northeast Dubois High School this fall. She aims to attend USI or Murray State to become an Ultrasound Technician, sponsored by the Dubois County Wranglers.

Ava Verkamp
Ava, daughter of Kevin and Heather Verkamp of St. Anthony, will be a senior at Forest Park High School. After graduation, she plans to attend Vincennes University to study Agribusiness and Animal Husbandry, sponsored by Verkamp Construction, Circle M Turkey Ranch, and Mere Reflection.
