In his address, which was read by the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, President Tinubu highlighted Nigeria’s cultural diversity as a vital asset. Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke assured attendees that his administration would encourage public-private partnerships aimed at enhancing Ijesaland’s development. He announced plans to upgrade Ilesa General Hospital to a Teaching Hospital for the University of Ilesa, promising to transform the region into a center of medical excellence.
As the ceremony concluded, Owa Haastrup, donning traditional attire and a beaded crown, expressed his gratitude to the distinguished guests and reaffirmed his commitment to the development of his domain.
